AERIAL DRONE IMAGERY

IBM, image-based modeling relies on two-dimensional images of a scene to generate a three-dimensional computer model. This virtual model is used to create a diagram of the scene.

PHOTOGRAMMETRY

(Evidence & Measurement Processing)

Photogrammetry is the science of extracting precise 3D spatial measurements and object positions directly from photos or videos. By referencing known landmarks and correcting lens distortion, specialized software “rectifies” imagery so unmeasured objects can be calculated with high accuracy.
